Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Srinagar Arrival
Arrive in Srinagar, where your journey begins. After meeting the tour group, you’ll undergo a bike test and briefing to ensure you’re comfortable with your Royal Enfield. Then, enjoy a local sightseeing tour, including a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Relax and get ready for the adventure ahead with an overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar – Kargil (200 km)
The ride begins as you head towards Kargil, crossing the famous Zoji La Pass. Stop at Drass War Memorial to honor the soldiers who fought in the Kargil War. This is a challenging but exhilarating day of riding, with a stay overnight in Kargil.
Day 3: Kargil – Leh (220 km)
On Day 3, continue your ride to Leh. Along the way, you will visit Mulbekh and its famous Buddhist rock carving, the Lamayuru Monastery, and the Magnetic Hill. Reach Leh, where you’ll rest and acclimatize. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 4: Leh Local Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring the local sights in Leh, including the Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Spituk Monastery, and the bustling Local Market. Inner Line Permits for Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake are processed, preparing you for the journey ahead. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 5: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La (130 km)
The highlight of this day is riding through Khardung La, the world’s highest motorable pass. Visit the Diskit Monastery and take a camel ride in Hunder Dunes, a unique desert experience in the heart of Ladakh. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 6: Nubra – Turtuk – Nubra (160 km round trip)
Today, you’ll visit Turtuk, a beautiful village close to the Pakistan border. Experience the local Balti culture and enjoy the scenic beauty. Afterward, return to Nubra for the night. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 7: Nubra – Pangong Lake via Shyok (170 km)
Ride along the Shyok River, surrounded by stunning mountain ranges, before reaching Pangong Lake, known for its mesmerizing blue waters. Set up camp and spend the night under the stars. Overnight camping at Pangong Lake.
Day 8: Pangong – Leh via Chang La (160 km)
On Day 8, cross the Chang La Pass, the third-highest motorable pass. Visit Hemis Monastery, one of Ladakh’s most significant and revered Buddhist monasteries. Return to Leh for the night. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 9: Leh – Kargil (220 km)
Head back towards Kargil, retracing your route and taking in the scenic landscapes once again. This is a more relaxed day of riding before your return. Overnight stay in Kargil.
Day 10: Kargil – Srinagar (200 km)
Your final day brings you back to Srinagar via the picturesque Sonamarg. Enjoy the beautiful views of meadows and rivers before concluding the tour. Trip ends in Srinagar.
